Great day! I went in the pool for the first time in 4 years and did aquatic therapy.  It was just heaven!  Thank you to my daughter for allowing me and the therapist to use her pool. It was so much easier to achieve range of motion in the water. Thank goodness my swim suit still fits.

Your beliefs don't make you a valuable person your behavior does!

I started outpatient therapy yesterday and I couldn't move the rest of the day! I was exhausted. There was a lot of stretching, balance work and scar rubbing. I'm going to
Therapy twice a week for four weeks.

I'm walking without a cane or walker in the house but still using a cane outside. So progress continues!

We had a celebratory dinner last night with my son in law and daughter. We are just so happy with the news we received yesterday.  I'm so excited about the future and that has been hard to come by.  When doctors told me that Ron had maybe 3 years to live I tried to keep myself grounded. I was always trying to be prepared for the worst.  Ron was always optimistic!!  It has been 5 years and 3 surgeries later. We are 1year cancer free. What a miracle!

Hooray, Ron got a great report! The spots are stable and they think they may be cysts. We are good for another 3 months! I'm so grateful!

Yesterday I went to Walmart with Ron.  This was definitely my longest walk so far.  I got some diabetic socks (for the swelling) and some t-shirts. I was really tired after but proud I made it that far!

Now I am going to cook lunch for Mike and Ron! I'm determined to build my stamina. I have visions of hitting the open road next year and taking a trip. I'm scared to look that far ahead but I can't help it!

I'm so happy to have this surgery behind me! Now if we can just keep Ron healthy!

During our outting yesterday we were rear ended but fortunately no one was hurt.  I'm already a nervous passenger and I hate traveling on the interstate.  I couldn't help but tell Ron that accident is exactly why I rest my case.

I have one more week of in home therapy then I start outpatient therapy. Sometimes it is hard to remember hip precautions because my hip doesn't hurt. I have to be careful because I sure don't want a dislocation.

My daughter Julie is having 2nd shoulder surgery next Friday. Her shoulder is frozen.  Then my other daughter is having the same surgery.  Ron gets CT results on Ties. We are watching two spots in his lung so that makes me nervous. We really need some prayers!

I'm ready for this family to get healthy for a change!

Happy. 4th of July.  I took my first putting today when Ron and I took Mike to Pop's in Arcadia Ok. It's a neat place with every kind of soda pop you can imagine. I'm so tired and my leg and foot swelled like an elephant! I'm making progress but it is slow.

Hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th!!!!!!
